Really hope this does'nt happen.

No true supporter wants to see a football club go under,and I'm sure I speak for everyone at Welling in hoping that we get to play you over the Xmas/new year period and for many years to come.

Ok, i have not read all the posts on this subject, why do some people feel you are finished, I understand the council issue, you will not get your ground in Margate very sad, but why can you not carry on playing at Ashford or even go back to Dover?

If only we got that Football Trust grant for ground improvements 3 years ago!!!

Money, basically, Mark. The club doesn't have any, except that that has been cobbled together to run it through the good grace of the Directors, and, I believe, some funding from the backers for the stadium.

Can't play at D*ver because of the exhorbitant charges, and even playing at Ashford the money is leaking away. Without the promise of home crowds again (or, indeed, cash from the commercial development), there is no income stream.. no income stream then ultimately no club.

Unless there is an eleventh hour miracle, I fear that TDC will finally have managed to rid themselves of us, and they can then dump whatever crap they want on HDP instead.. something entirely self-serving, no doubt.

Say what you like about the former administration knocking down the old ground.. TDC has never rushed to give decent advice or support throughout this long drawn out siege, as far as I can see.

A sad day indeed.
