Ben Surey

Gravesend & Northfleet's young midfield maestro Ben Surey has been selected in the initial 30-man England National Game squad to play against Italy at FC Ivrea on Wednesday 10 November. The squad will eventually be reduced to the 16 who will travel.

 

This under 23 match will feature the elite of non-league football's stars of tomorrow. Fleet club secretary Roly Edwards was the first to hear the news: "It is a great honour and reflects well on our club. Ben is a talented lad. It is good that his abilities have been recognised at the highest levels."

Mr Consistant so far this season ..

He has provided more than adequate guile and effort after replacing Perks in the squad.

His all round game is superb, but now just needs to get Perks eye for a goal, and what a player we will have.
