Hmmm, I'm not sure about this.

 

The first two tracks sound like the sort of thing that would be playing on the stereo were I making love to a man for the first time in a dark basement somewhere with black leather, whips and handcuffs hanging from the damp walls.

 

Personal Jesus is, of course, a top tune though.

I'm on track 5 now, mate! Reckon I'll give it until Enjoy The Silence, and then whack on the new Duran album instead!!

I do quite like the new Duran track. I was in Next yesterday and they played it. Think I might pop up there again at lunchtime.

I bought the new Duran album on Monday, but it's not up to much really. I was hoping that with the return of the three Taylor's that they may return to the good old days, but they just try too hard to sound contemporary.

 

They had some good singles in the 90s, and parts of 1997's Medazzaland are as good as their early stuff, but they haven't really made a consistently good album since 1988.
