TONY WILSON (Factory Records / Hacienda)

PETER HOOK (New Order)

CLINT BOON (Inspiral Carpets)

Get Loaded continues to offer the London club scene something totally new every month and next time round we invite you to a very special Audience with... Shaun Ryder & Tony Wilson on Thursday 4th November.

Never before has anything like this happened.

Happy Mondays front man Shaun Ryder and Former Hacienda / Factory Records boss Tony Wilson will be Live on stage from 7.30pm 8.30pm, answering questions from the audience and having a general debate about all things music, plus reflecting back on the heady days of the Happy Mondays in their prime, Factory Records, the Hacienda, Twenty Four Hour Party People the film and alike. What an eye-opening experience this promises to be!! This one off interview session will be conducted by X-FM presenter Shaun Keaveny, before Get Loaded promoter Kav, kicks off the indie/dance/northern soul/funk/breaks soundtracks behind the decks from 8.30pm...

Once the club is in full swing, Tony Wilson makes his 2nd appearance for Get Loaded as a DJ – an experience he likens to “being your personal iPod for the evening, carefully selecting and programming a series of music into a particular order to make people dance”. And dance they shall, as Tony will be spinning his all time Top 20 tunes, which is worth the entrance fee alone… did I mention it’s only £5 Guests / £4 NUS??!!

Also returning to the fold is New Order’s legendary bass player Peter Hook and the Boon Army sounds of Inspiral Carpet’s man Clint Boon. Both guys have become firm favourites at Get Loaded and they’ll be joined by another infamous DJ/MC set from Shaun Ryder and Shaun Keaveny who replaces the mic with some phat 12 inches!!

8.30pm-3am

£5 / £4 (NUS) Entry

2-4-1s at the bar (7.30-10pm)

It was your implication that there's something wrong with having a few beers at home with my feet up in front of the box.

I would still suggest it is still a slightly more sociable activity than shoving Class A drugs up one's nose at 11.30am on a train into London.

Not that I know anyone who would do that, of course.

And despite your rather blinkered view, I don't sit at home getting pissed by myself every evening. I'm not sure Emma would stand for that for very long, mate.

Quite the opposite, in fact. With the youngster on the way within the next couple of months, I have been drinking less and less in general, probably the reason I got so wasted on so little on Wednesday night.

Yes 11.30am is a very early start. Maybe there's some connection there why so few people are bothering with Bognor in a couple of weeks time.
