Hopefully Brimsdown's ambition will extend as far as getting their fingers out and helping ETFC with the upkeep of the grounds facilities and helping to maintain the pitch..etc.(don't hold your breath). <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/whistling.gif" alt="" />

I think it a good move for the club, we have good facilities and plenty of room for growth. I know some good signings have been made over the past fortnight - players who would walk into any of the Essex Senior sides.

 

Its going to be an interesting season......

Gary Brooker is still chairman, as for the new signings.....Well, that would be telling - you will have to wait and see.

 

I think Tony the previous manager went a few days back, not sure where, or if he has another club to be honest.

I heard Tony resigned resigned because the chairman was interfering and wanted to start picking the team. Not the first time and from different clubs I've heard that of him. He's bad news.

to say Gary Brooker is bad news is way off the mark. I have been with him at two clubs and he is a fantastic person to be around. Hence why he always attracts good players to the clubs he is at. Brimsdown (with all due respect) are in div 1 of the spartan and already someone has said that he has got players any essex senior side would want, that does not suprise me.
