first of all can i just say who ever the ref was must have been wearing a blind fold all game tackles were flying in and the ref could not cope with it and when he did give something it went in the favour of bowers near enough everytime.

 

on the other hand their was some good football played in very hard conditions from both teams. they missed a pen in first half which woke us up a bit then we scored before half time. in the second half we had 2 pens not given and should have been as bowers pressed on in search of a goal. so a good game in all and still unbeaten.

dot com we went one nil up before hickmans penalty save, the pitch did play well and looked the dogs, a very good game, the referee had mare,i bet we get him again very soon though

Dotcom i am led to believe that there was 5-6 first team squad players playing last night,a good result for waltham abbey,also i am hearing through the grapevine that chelmsford city are looking at lee sontag,im afraid that is what success brings when your club is doing well.

no he doesnt, he come from our youth team. we have played in the same team since we were 10 or 11!

Chelmsford city pay big money to their players and with a new ground being built he would be bonkers not to go if asked,sadly clubs from a higher level watch senior league football week in week out,thats how it works.

but how do you know that they are interested? if they were then surely they would make an approach???

well they cant have him! only joking, would be interestin to see what he would do. local lad like the rest of us and we have got something good this year we believe. we all want success this year and are working hard to achieve it. i will watch this space!
