While waiting in the queue for ..... I'll let AFF do that bit..

To summarise - Both Castle and Steve Eames offered their resignation after the cup fiasco but Gibbo rejected both and ranted about the FA and Gary Calder.

Gary Calder is banned from Clarence Park and Gibbo has no intention of going to Hornchurch.

The youngsters have probably played more than they should.

Over to AFF .....

as I understand matters Don Grazzio Calderone has engaged the services of George Carmen to sue the manic gibbon for slander.... libel and a fraudulent conversion of FA prize money...

(there is a rumour abounding that cash changed hands for certain....errrr....irregularities to take place....)

now of course.. I couldn't possibly pass comment about such scurrilous and unsubstantiated rumours....

god forbid that there could ever be any secret agenda with the FA cup at stake....

such a sacred chalice deserves more don't you think.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/ignore.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/ignore.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/ignore.gif" alt="" />

ah...the right Hon Mr Taylor of the 'learned profession' I assume...I recall your excellent summaries of the 'greek restaurant' case a year or so back....

you are of course correct in your assesment of the late Mr Carmen's status but I thought that given the gravity of the pending trial.... 'corpses' would be more likely to handle the boredom and triviality of it all....

Rather than George Carman QC, I assumed that Gary Calder had retained the services of Mr George Carmen of that well known law firm [...you know what's coming....] Messrs Sue Grabbit and Runne.

Uncle Urchin. Greetings and good morning to you. I presume that you are referring to the landmark law case, Sophocleous Vs Reed and anr. The nation was rivetted for 10 days or so last season. Lemming-like Enfield Town collectively accepted voluntary gagging on here, as I recall. Whatever happened to the £150,000 legal costs on that one I wonder? 7 witnesses for the defence all of whom testified to what was said in a private telephone call. I hope that they enjoyed their 15 minutes of fame etc.

Fascinating stuff.

Yes. Back to the other point.

"...with all due respect to the young lads, they've probably played a little bit more than they should have."

Chris Seeby, Adam Smith, Bullet and Ammo, presumably.

14 games so far this season. Hmmnn.
