If any of the officials from last nights game are reading this, i would like to draw their attention to this page.

 

In particular the section that says

"If the player is behind the ball he cannot be offside - so players are usually safe when ball is cut back from the goal line"

 

Which the linesman we had in the second half seemed totally unaware of.
