If you were the boss of a company failing due to lack of productivity from your workforce, when you moved on to a new company you would not want to bring your old employees with you for fear that the lack of productivity continued, surely? That would appear to be what he is doing (again).

Apparently though, players like Dean Palmer and Bubb are close to Browne because they work with him at his company (or the company he works at anyway) in London. I think that's the story anyway. Back when they were at Slough Town there was apparently a split in the dressing-room between Browne and his mates, and all the other players. So regardless of how good these players are (and I thought some were pretty decent players btw), they were always going to follow Browne to Dover.

Agree Matt that many of his regulars are good players particularly IMO Dean Palmer but as you say Steve, Troy, Dean all work(ed) at the same company Mon-Fri 9-5. In bringing the same bunch with him everywhere he invariably creates clique which is not healthy for team spirit.

Your exactly right as well PJ why bring an under productive workforce with you everywhere you go? It shows in my opinion a lack of confidence in his own coaching skills and his ability to find "new" talent.

I can almost understand why Dover appointed someone like Browne though - they're a club fresh out of the Southern League scene, and clearly wanted someone with Ryman League experience. I just hope for their sake it doesn't backfire, and if it does, that they get rid of him quickly.

I'm now travelling 90 miles every other week to watch The Rebels because under Eddie they are worth watching. Under Browne I couldn't be arsed to walk half mile to watch em play.

I'm doing my best to boost numbers, this season I've got my little brother and father hooked and for the Cheshunt game I bought my uncle who was surprised at the skill levels of the team, particularly in the second half. He will definately be coming again.

As for the stay away fans I don't know what the answer is. I'm sure if they came back for one match they would come again more often. That makes reaching the 1st round very important. If we draw a big club and the fans come back they might stay for the season.

It'll be interesting to see how long it takes the for the Dover fans to dissapear.
