I think most of the comments have been fair and even if people don't agree with them at least this post is having a sensible debate. One player left because of Stuart but maybe others left because of the atmosphere created by Stuart? The Manor had a winning formula last year and all the comings and goings seem to have stopped that. If players stop playing because of work committments fair enough but it didn't stop them last year! Maybe all the changes weren't for the best and thats why players left. 2 points though. What player went to Waltham Forest??? And signing Billy Cove was a big mistake. A good player maybe but a pre madonna who left when things were not going well, who said he retired and now says he may play for Enfield Town. Didn't he also quit by text message. Where's the respect in that?

i would like to answer wondering you know who i am i dont hide my name like you.my son is no prima donna if he was he would not have gone to manor in the first place,he went because he was asked to and because he played for them as a kid under tens to under 17s and wanted to give it a go but it did not work out.he left etfc as he had got a new job and could not commit himself to training and yes he would like to go back next season. so shut your mouth you PRICK.

Before this gets silly we agree its about opinions.Billy Cove would have been great for the Manor if he stayed.He is a family man and has started his own business so could not comit himself to the Manor this season and i know Billy and Kirk still talk on the phone.Billy has great fondness of EMFC and if asked would play for them if available so lets not start a slanging match and Mr Cove you know your family are welcome at all EMFC games.Dont bite with posters who like to put others down.Especially those who stay ANONYMOUS

Thanks for your comments and you are right football is about peoples opinions and i do not mind if someone does not think if Billy is any good or not and a lot of good judges over the years think he is.But when a mug who cant spell calls him a prima donna that is a bit much,i do not want to get in a slagging match with anyone at the manor as a lot of good friends of mine have played for them over the years and i have been friends with Reg since primary school

opinions in football are common some people think a player is great others not so good.

 

all i wll say on the matter is if like me you look very close at the posts you will see that maybe there are only 1 or 2 people posting in

numerous differant names.and maybe some of the eton manor top brass are using the forums to get

Bill Cove before you criticise spelling look at your own grammer son.

 

I agree with Foxy. Good chat untill people start slagging each other off. Why do people fom the Manor get so offended when someone makes a point about them?

Seems almost rude to intrude here but I can say without doubt that Billy Cove still has lots of support from those of us at ETFC who think he gave up the game too early. It may not have worked out at Eton Manor this time but I'm sure he went there with the best intentions - he was no prima donna at ETFC last year. A quality player....
