2sent off? maybe just maybe refs can now see the real enfield town.you have got away with murder for the last 3 years.and me like most of the essex senior league thinks its great.bb has been puting it about since day one and i have seen 1st hand him get away with elbows.kicking off the ball.in the refs face all game.lets hope this will teach all you anoraks a lesson? getting players sent off makes you lose games..and long may it continue? so the german walked today mr box head lol wish i had seen it <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wow.gif" alt="" />

Getting away with it? I don't think so. We've had our fair share of dismissals over the years. In this League there are teams that kick and teams that play football, usually dependent on the manager. ETFC for the most part try and play football. We have been guilty in the past of some moments of madness and duly punished and we do also tend to get involved more than we should with some of the more 'physical' teams but to suggest we are a bunch of cloggers who deserve extra punishment isn't accurate for me, although I may be biased. The opinion of Eton Manor, Waltham Abbey, Romford et al fans may be a better one.

 

Bradley Brotherton was a liabilty in terms of discipline in our first season but his record (and conduct) is much improved since.

 

As for your views of Graeme Hall? Well, that's up to you but he has rarely been in trouble for fouls in the past but, and increasingly so, for dissent.

Sorry to go against the grain, but have to disagree with all this cojones re Enfield getting away with it, blah blah blah. In the three seasons we at Romford have come up against them, the Townies have always tried to play football against us. Yes there has been the odd dodgy tackle et al, but all in all - and unlike the leviathans that were/are Southend Manor, Basildon and Concord - they ain't done bad. (apart from their whingeing fans!). By the way, an Eton Manor player saw red for the 14th? time this season yesterday, but although the boy Marsh was the last man, what the ref got out of sending him off two minutes from time, and when they were 4-0 down is totally beyond me. We missed a hatful, but Becks eat your heart out...when he watches the video of Danny Benstock's sweet little effort yesterday. Yup, the old Rolls Royce still has style.
