Many congrats to the oranisers of the successful appeal against the result of the St.Albans match. As a club they are one of the least pleasant we have to mix with, and it is most pleasing to witness the rubbing of their noses in the proverbial. What a blow last week, we played superbly box to box,but the ball did not even try to get into the goal.I was most surprised to see criticism of Griff on the site earlier in the week,as his skill was amazing at times and made de Sousa look a complete amateur, as he resorted to holding on to Griff in the end.Well done to all the boys and the only problem is that we now have to go further in the Cup now to compensate for the loss of revenue.Lets get going up the League further starting on Saturday.I do hope Mr Placid will get a chance to prove himself.COYSS "

Griffiths?

For Heaven's sake. If he was on trial to understudy Johnny Wilkinson for the England rugby team kicking duties, he would have passed with flying colours. At least 6 of his efforts would have been straight between the uprights.

Perhaps he's not been coached that with the round ball, the idea is to put the thing into the net.

Even though we were the better side, if Heybridge had a striker worthy of the name, it could have been all over by half time.

Unbelievable c..p. Heybridge supporters are the most unpleaseant, ignorant, parochial, partisan bunch you could ever meet. No wonder the guy referred to them being so good 'box to box' - the way they play - the ball never hits the ground from box to box.

Would Mr Simon Phillips please go back to his hole in the ground.
