Of course 'we' are interested in tonight's game, but Blaze, it's important to remember my new 2004/05 philosophy. For want of a better expression in mixed company, 'it's going to be really tough on and off the pitch' but I've come to terms with that so everything's all right.

 

I'm predicting one way traffic and a four nil scoreline.

Well, it seems that I've missed a lot and I've only been away for 3 days (in the Netherlands). Luckily I was kept informed by a good friend of mine who cares as much as I do and was seriously pissed off by recent events.

 

Anyway I shall be there tonight and interested. I think that the controversy may even add to the ambience.

 

On a slightly different note I wonder if a former Manager may be there tonight. I bumped in to him in Sopwell House the other night (I do get about don't I) and we had a good chat, and a few beers, talking about the mighty Saints. Chairman, Manager, players, we discussed them all. I won't put our conclusions on here, but suffice to say we were never going to win the FA cup anyway.

 

This former manager is now General Manager at Thurrock, so hopefully he'll be there tonight.
