Team for saturday

I've found the forum a bit understated this week ,so there's nothing like playing Ron Manager and picking your side for saturday.

Seems we have an almost full squad so team does not eactly pick itself this week.

 

I'd go with the following:

 

Trego

 

Edwards

 

Barnett Beckwith Annon

 

Benevides Keister Gradley Clarke

 

Che Rocky

 

 

Assumes Oates is unfit-definately looks it,and Trego still with the club.

 

Unlukiest player is Jjunju, but feel without Oates, need a bit of pace on that flank which hopefully Benevides can provide,and Clarke can give cover to Annon.

 

I know this is sacrilege, but imo we almost lose a player by playing Bill.Good sweeper, but not a good central defender,but by playing him as sweeper, you almost admit that the defence is not good enough to play 3/4 at back,and you need an extra man- sweeper- thus you 'lose one man '

Frankly, when Oates and Green are fit i would go with a back four.

Read on Teletext at lunchtime everyone available.Possible doubt over Oates but we hear that every week & he still plays(wot a bloke).Would go with MichaelMichaels team selection(rest Oates anyway this-normally would have him in)but would play Jjunju instead of Gradley-full pronged attack with 3 quality forwards-we are the home team after all.I'm sure they'd roast most defences in this league given the chance.3 points for the Gate & Ingerlund to stuff the sheep shaggers-wot a Saturday. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif" alt="" />

[color:"blue"]I too would agree with Michaels XI, but feel CK will opt for Oates rather than put him on the bench(which I think would be wrong). I agree with Hornet that Jjunju should play, but would reserve him until half time. (keep 'em hungry !).

yep looks like the line up CK will probally go for and i expect oates will make a apearnace at some point.

 

As for Jjunju he is unlucky but i wouldnt drop che(the man is just invaluable for the gate),

and i belive rocky has done well the last few games and the chance of us playing 3 up front are slim.

But Jjunju certinaly deserves a decent amount of time on the pitch not some rash last 5 min sub [****!!****] the guy has stuck with us while he could have cleared off and tryed his luck else where, he deserves some decent play time for his loyalty.

Have to agree that strong case for Moses, but can't see how you can play Benevides and Moses in same team-too risky.

 

Gradley gives stability so think he must stay-best player for last one and a half games.

 

Oates simply is not fit and needs time to recover-surely playing him for 45 mins is doing no good ,and last saturday through no fault of his own he hardly touched the ball.

 

Thus for me its Moses or Benevides-God knows but Benevides gets the vote(never thought at start of season i would be saying that ,but delighted that i was possibly wrong)
