Site Changes!

Had trouble getting into the site today.When trying to acess the site i got the old "Page not available" message. Had to creep in the back door(which is a change from creeping out the back door like i did a few times in my youth <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />). When i finally found the page i had to log in AGAIN.....Oh if you hear loud banging on the door.......it is BigJR............he can't get in either! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wall.gif" alt="" />

Looks like in my attempts late last night (or was that early this morning), trying to correct the new post issues, I made another situation worse.

 

I will sort it.

When I access the site- I can no longer tell whether any new posts have been received at a glance. The "old" site used to have the topic highlighted and a figure in red brackets to tell you what has been added since you last looked.

 

Has this feature gone permanently or should I be amending My Home details to get this to work?

No - it will be back as soon I can figure out why it is not working.

 

This is as much a pain for me, as it is for everyone else.

I have spoken to Braintree fans who don't post on the forum, but enjoy reading it, before they could get their posts highlighted now they don't. We also attracted the parents of the U18's and the players, but they say the same the posts are no longer highlighted for the ones they have not read.

 

I am just concerned we might lose some of the new viewers we have received and they will go back to Iron Chatter.

 

I am sure Ian is doing his best.

Another small problem with this new look site !

 

I cannot access any threads from the panel on the left, (Current Threads), OR from The main entrance page.

 

Just get the "Problem with the server" message <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/taz.gif" alt="" /> !!

Why can't we put Graemlins on our original messages, now i have to edit everything to access the Graemlin panel?????
