last nite!!

first i would like to thank everyone who helped wiv the bar,food,music and time and effort that went into last nite but just a shame that more people could not make it hardly anyone showed but still a good time was had by those there i have to say i thought more people would have shown a bit of solidarity towards the club and the people that are fighting for it, irealise that some people could not make it but even kp made an appearance for a few i don't have loads of money and managed to get to the quiz nite footy yesterday and then the do last nite and have to say that i felt sorry for all those that went to the effort of putting it thanx

put a name to ur post anonymous the only games i don't go to is if i have to work, my shift pattern is all over the place and believe me if i could get to all games then i would think i've only missed 2 home games 1 was a tuesday nite which was a day when i worked till 8 and the other was a saturday when i had to work til 2 and i also get to away games if i can and believe me i am not critising no one pal just pissed off that so many put a lot of effort into last nite and i felt a bit sorry for them

i understand that people have commitments and cannot be there all the time like me, and yes nobody is UNDER CONTRACT to even turn up to watch the gate but it upsets me that the so called margate in the blood people do not turn up to support the club the crowds are dwinddling and after player wages yesterday the club made 34.70 we cannot survive on that sort of take for much longer!!

John if there was some Light at the end of the tunnel you would have the deserters all coming back i would probably be one of the first but i didnt support the team to be relegated i never made the desision to dismantle the ground i never stabed the S/A in the back i never robbed the people traveling to away games but the people who are in controll now are the chosen few that were invited to the secret meetings let them get on with it

[color:"blue"]I appreciate what you're trying to say Bodyform, but some of us aren't really interested in the social side of the Club. I wouldn't go to a quiz night/ racing night / party night that was run outside the Club, so don't see that I should be obliged to attend one run by the Club. I'm sure this is true of many others too.

Saturday night was not organised by the club but by the "SUPPORTERS ASSOCIATION" whose sole aim is to do their best to ensure that Margte F.C. survive. To this end all profits accrued from all events held will be contributed to the club. Only last week the association made a contribution of £1,000.00. This can only be acheived if support is given to the many events which are planned
