I think those figures show that Enfield Town have been in the ESL a year too long.(if not longer)

 

The G.Brasted Trophy,ESL League cup. Been there done that,won them all.Our crowds for league games and FA competions are excellent,but the fans seem to have lost the will to travel on Tuesday nights to watch minor cup games.The novelties worn off.

 

We due respect to the ESL,we need to move on QUICKLY.That's the reason why out league attendences have been good,fans are desperate to see us win the league and climb the pyramid.

 

I think Jim Chandler realises that he MUST get ETFC promoted this year. Another year at this level will see fans deserting the club.Originally, fans were prepared to watch the club at step 5 level, in the belief that that was the stepping stone to better things.Some will not watch step 5 football indefinatly.

LS - agree with ur sentiment; but it is the age old arguement, we have no god given right to promotion, Jim has got to haveteam that will win it.

 

If there was an equation of crowd size to success than Man U would have every trophy for the last 20 years.

 

I think the majority of supporters will cope with another couple of years in the ESL....

 

IF they see things are happening to improve on and off the field.

I think that you also have to consider the allure or otherwise of Tilbury on a Tuesday evening, having already played the league fixture.

 

I don't think that the extended structure of the league cup competition has a positive impact on gates, for any ESL club.

The middlesex cup crowds last season weren`t enormous so I think blaming the ESL is not the full story.

ST...I agree that the fans may be able to survive a couple of more years in the ESL,but one things for sure Jim Chandler and his coaching staff will not survive another two years without promotion..

 

Saying that, i have every faith we will be promoted this year,and move onto better things.
