Apart from you lot and us to a certain degree, it hardly matters does it? Check the latest results and attendances...12 at Southend Manor the other week and even FOUR at London APSA. So moving the games to Katmandu at 4am would hardly cause a stir among the die hards.

And as for the second post re Sky and England kicking off at 3pm...I don't like it either but he who pays the piper..etc etc etc...Why they cannot be played on a Sunday is beyond me...A bit like general elections really...why cannot they be on a Sunday? Thursdays are now a thing of the bygone age and few people work 9-5 in the 21st century.

Good luck in the cup you Townies today...And if there is a replay, your gonna luv Thame..Try the Swan Hotel opposite the road to the ground. Fantastic pub which sells a drink called the Dog's Bollo*cks. Loads of good eateries and boozers in the market square. Nice appointed ground with a very tasteful club house..

Just as an aside to ETFC at Southend Manor this Saturday, I travel on the team/supporters club coach to away games and as of Friday, it was not confirmed what time the coach was to leave because Southend Manor FC have yet to confirm the kick off time.

Centre Spot only has two games kicking off early - Romford at 12 and Waltham Abbey at 12.30. If they are like any othre League its too late to change - so 3pm at Manor ?

I am very surprised that Southend Manor have not moved Saturday's game to a 12noon kick-off. If 70 or so people stay away that's approx £500 lost in terms of gate money, programmes and bar takings.

What's the lowest crowd ETFC have played in front of? This game may create a new record.

According to the Conference Fanzine (a.k.a. NLP) the FA wanted to change the k.o. time but the police refused to let them do it. Hmmm...

That's Wychwood's winter ale. If we'd had to go there for a replay, I don't think it would have been available. According to an old copy of the Good Beer Guide it's only brewed in November. The 2005 Guide just says it is one of their seasonal beers. Oh, and that it's infamous.

I've no doubt this will be the lowest attendence to watch a competative ETFC game.

1. It's a minor cup (not a league game)

2. Southend's a long way to go.

3. England v Wales kicks-off at the same time as the game.

I can see us only taking about 30/40 fans .Add Southends usual 15-20(if they don't stay away) and you'll be left with a crowd of barely 50 ,if you're lucky.

P.S....If this was a home game ,i would have expected a 1.00pm kick-off.

So who is going?

I will start with me and the old chap.

I would rather watch a real team than that bunch of overpaid fashion victims.

So what are the local police thinking?

That hordes of ETFC fans will watch an early kick off then join in with the locals to riot after the England game.

But if that's their line of thinking it means they have to be in the town centre and the park at the same time to keep the peace-illogical.

Perhaps the question was 'do we NEED to change the kick off time?'
