game was scrappy at best, and we made a poor team look good we need to keep the ball down...

 

man did we miss Che and Bene,

I was told che was at a funeral...

Scrappy and poor game,but what the hell, Gate won.

 

Please please a nice 'easy draw' for next round and a further £4k.

 

Have to say that on paper team was weakish, but al did their best.

Margate the better in second half.

 

Trego loked very sound.

Bill,Barnett and Annomn all decent games.

 

Greg obviously very badly injured.I thought it would have been better to bring him off after 20 mins-he was really really struggling.

 

No-one had a stinker but it was pretty poor today, but again it was all about the result and this was a banana skin waiting to happen.

Think you're a bit harsh on Bulley ,Legend-nothing spectacular agree but it was first game and we all have to start somewhere.

 

Well done the Gate and just hope we play 5 times better against Newport-we will need to- that Greg has a good week to recover in ,and a couple of good training sessions this week wil give CK the chance to orgainise us a bit more

Thought JK goal was superb and this set us up really cos they looked flat at the back even though they pulled a goal back. We finished well apart from the last ten seconds when the ping pong took place. dire shot became a perfect pass for their wing back who then crossed only to have the shot blasted miles high. Moses looked very good to me despite his lack of height.

well was a very scrapy game very simlar to the thurrock game again a terrible ref & linesman we really did make the game hard for ourselfs why we feel the urge to start playing long ball ill never know all our best moves are from the deck were we r better suited due to a lack of any real height any ways am happy with the win but not how we aproached the game we really missed che and pete.

 

Right as for Bulley he should have never have been placed in front of Jjunju in the team a point i belive was proved by the fact that Jjunju done far more in his 1st 5 mins in the game then bulley did in the 1st half when he had the ball.

 

Perhaps its a bit harsh to judge him on his 2nd apearnce and his 1st start but still he didnt have any pyhiscal or footballing abilty that would sugest he is a better player then Jjunju or even pulman.

A result was the main thing and to progress. Couldn't make it today as had to start work at 5 but well done the lads for getting through. Glad that MOSES got his chance and by all accounts he didnt waste it. He is I.M.O. a livewire that could and should be used. Hope he gets more chances.
