I note that we have now signed Mark Brennan from Billericay who the Echo states is 37 years old.

Considering that the teams who have given us much trouble this term have consisted of youngsters, this signing has confused me, especially when JK has announced on a number of occassions that he intends to bring younger talent into the squad. Our current defensive record is not really up to scratch with the lack of pace being very obvious at times, Slough game most prominant, is then this new signing wise, is he the man that is going to grab the generals job organising our team? or am I just being an alarmist, someone out there explain please! <img src="/forums/images/icons/confused.gif" alt="" />

Come on Lads lets at least be optimistic we need a midfield general and he could be our man, The experience he has can go a long way to helping us and if he is in the mould of a Stimo

I would be more than happy for him to play for us !!!

I have not seen the last couple of games due to being on holiday and due to other commitments I cannot make tonight's game.

Good luck lads and lets bring on Purfleet Saturday and show them how we can play !!!

I still believe we can play this Sexy football and believe that we did when we went down to 10 men against Hendon when we we drew 4-4....
