A few of us making the journey on Saturday, a new ground for us.

A few questions, presumably segregated? Do we get in your clubhouse? No chance of pies, anything better than burgers?

Parking a problem or easy?

Here's to the craic and a good game.

Cheers big ears - Freez

I`m afraid since segregation our clubhouse is for home fans only. There are a couple of pubs near the ground, have a look here. Parking shouldn`t be a problem if your there earlyish, how many do you think you will bring.

thats a good web page.. i wonder who did that...?

if i were you i'd go boozing at the hoy n helmet on the way in, but leave yourself plenty of time for the trek across the island .. it takes longer then it looks on the map.. if you insist on the island experience go to the windjammer

Is the Windjammer near the ground?

Pity about the clubhouse, ours is the same, tho we have been lucky and the last two home games have started segregated but because of lack of away fans the ground has opened up, so a few crept in to the club for a pint beforehand.

Difficult to tell how many we will bring, our away form has been OK, but our home form poor. With you being a new club to us a few may visit for novelty value, could be 70, could be 100 or more or more, depending on which way the wind blows.

Heres hoping for a good game and some banter, will post on our board that the Windjammer is our meeting place, see you there!!!!

15 minute walk? .. plus you can walk along the sea wall and see the sea.. oh hang on your from morecambe arnt you and are probably sick of looking at the sea.. in that case stay down on the road and you wont even know it there, apart from the oil tankers towering over your head...

also if you walk from the 'jammer you arrive at the ground right at the away entrance which save you having to walk around the ground (which takes about 30 seconds)

Just found out our supporters coach aint comin, problems with bookings, so probably 50 tops, unless our London branch appear!!!(then it will be 56, haha!!)

Will drive to the ground methinks.

We get the open terrace no doubt? We behind a goal or on the side?

Crikey we spoil you giving you a covered end!!!

Almost tropical up here today, you must be roasting down there near the equator?

Laters!!!

Deary me how I miss those November Tuesday evenings at Canvey

I took to smoking big cigars to keep the lips thawed out in case of conversational needs

Mind you in October six or seven layers of thermal clothing should easily make the match enjoyable, that is unless that dredger gets stuck again and needs a push-pull in to open waters

Do you all keep the tradition of skinny dipping and are visitors still invited to join in??

Had a good day out, nice tidy ground, it didnt rain, had great banter with your fans, a poor game, draw about right, the landlord of the Windjammer is a great character!!!

Which one of the above isn't true?

Thanks again guys see you in January, FA Cup commitments permitting (I wish!!!)

Canvey should have won!!

Anyway - did you remember to take all your ferrets home - we don't have any reported cases of rabies on the island and have tight border controls

Sorry , I can only accept the answer on the card, and it was the last one.

I posted thinking we should have won, and thought you would feel the same, so therefore a draw was probably right?
