Fans treated to another poor display by Calders team

We today travelled to Canvey hoping for a solid performance from Calders Team.

This was not to be the case as within 5 mins 1-0 down the midfield went missing and with Baker and Willo up front we were never going to win the ball in the air. We spent the majority of the game pumping the ball forward which Canvey kept winning, when we played to feet we did look more dangerous and created our best chances.

It is not the players fault when every week we change the team with new faces coming in and old players departing how are they suppposed to understand each others game.

I believe it is time for Gary to consider his position as we cannot warrant as a club having Gary, Chris and George at the club one has to go and why not now as we are re-building.

Since George has arrived key players have left Tomlinson, Woolsey and King is this to pay his wages as in my eyes these players had a future with the club.

Finally has Chris Moore left as not at Canvey and rumours going around he has gone to the States?.

Wasn't at today's game so can't comment on that, but the same problems all season - lack of a front pairing. <p>As regards King, Woolsey and Tomlinson - I think Jerome John and Juho Rantala are better than the first two, and with Henty back Tomlinson wouldn't have been in my first choice XI

Canvey was another game that we had lost before we kicked the ball. With a team selection like that I'm afraid the result is only going one way.

Chris Moore has only temporarily gone to the US (as before). Where have the new front 2 gone? Victor was extremely good at Hampton.

Hampton was a good game all round maybe because Joe Baker played on the wing instead of up front.

I don't think either Ed or Victor are fully fit - remember that neither have yet trained with the team. Agree with you that Joe is better on the wing - we seem to be reverting to a 4-4-2 formation of late with either Opinel or Henty on the other flank.
