I wouldn't thing so. They have an easy job at Manor, no expectations (this isn't a criticism so please don't take it like that), and will be under pressure to repeat successes at Bowers. But who will go to Bowers, Margolis or Whitelock? Can't understand why Margolis left Ilford as manager to become first team coach at Manor.

History is against you guys..How many managers have said that in the past...."there is no truth in the rumour whatsoever" then five minutes later it's offski down the road...

What did a certain little money-grabbing sh!t say last season? ONCE A BLUE, ALWAYS A BLUE...until the colour runs in the wash.

Anyway who was sacked at Bowers, Darren or Mark? I am sure that both, well Darren anyway, had connections with Romford at some stage.

I agree Foxy. Why did Margolis leave Ilford? Was he pushed? Maybe he is using the Manor's publicity for his own ends. He's in the shop window for other clubs to have a look. If perrenial strugglers Manor continue to do well he will get the credit, whether that is right or not, and a big club may come in for him. It's just strange he left a club with big possibilites, potential and money, to go to a club, who although doing well above expectation, will probably only be a mid table side for a few years to come and will struggle to attract top players(not being disrespecful to manor here so please don't take it like that).

Fully agree with the shop window and mid-table statement, but you can cut out the perenial strugglers bit. We are under no illusions that if the right offer came along Stuart would have to consider it ( with our blessing ) it's not often that this calibre of staff knock on our door, so we are making the most of it while it lasts. If we can take on board some of what is being taught, it will only make the club and players progression easier in the future. As for Whitelock, he's going nowhere, the present Manor management ( excluding Stuart ) asked to be given 5 years to turn the club into a force to be reckoned with, well it's one down four to go, and despite recent speculation from the world and his brother, we intend to honour the agreement, unless Reg says otherwise. So in future please don't assume anything, as with other clubs official statements on major issues will always be published on our web site.

Totally agree Eton Rifle. I was using perennial strugglers in the past tense, so no offence was meant. However I think that you need people there who are there for the long term and not jumping on the bandwagon of Manor success to further their own careers. If players/staff are asked to go higher fair enough but the Manor are based on loyalty and I think some people are not as committed to club as others, like last year when, at the start of the season Manor were expected to be the whippin boys.

Good coach is stu and kevin is a good motivator...... but the main man at the monor is kirk followed by big lal...people will come and go but the heart beat of the club will keep going.... they done it at woodford and they will do it at the manor....in these 2 blokes you have got true eastenders and unlike other people who post on here these 2 will neve ever let you down

So why was Kirk going to walk out? If he wanted 5 years why did he want to go after 4 weks of the new season? Couldn't handle the pressure? Maybe thats why he brought in Stuart and Kevin because he knows he isn't up to it?

Lets not get too bogged down with the negatives, the facts are Stuart wants to remain at the Manor, Quinny has found a new lease of life and is really enjoying his football plus the added responsibly he has been given. Whitelock never wanted to leave the Club, if you read his thoughts on the Club website he explains what he was feeling at the time. Whitelock and Larry are two quality people that will continue to attract quality to the Club. Both are 100% focused on the Manor, Bowers nor any other Club will detract them at least for the foreseeable future. The Club is in safe hands with Reg Curtis and Alex Lee both life long members of Eton Manor Football Club. The Club continues to grow in popularity because what these good people do is for free, they have a superb website which is growing and used to good affect in reaching out to many people and thanks to Tilbury FC this season have a great home to play their football. Who knows what tomorrow will bring, but as it stands at the moment all is well at the Manor FACT!

Lets make it clear to everyone Kirk did not bring Stuart in Stuart offered his services and Kirk was happy to give Stuart the coaching roll.As with Kevin there was no assistant manager so since the start of the season Manor have been trying to fill that roll and Kirk and Stuart know Kevin well so he was invited into EMFC wheres the problem. It would be nice for certain people to admire what goes on at the Manor instead of sligh digs at people who give there all.
