well, what can i say!? Hampton didn't deserve their 1st goal today! It all started when Lewis Cook cut inside and crossed the ball, only for it to go out for what would, and should have been a corner, but no... the referee (who was absoltely useless) gave a goal kick! The keeper took the goal kick and luke fontana broke free to score, to which he then got booked for celebrating, because he took his shirt off!!

 

Anyway, the team must show great 'bouncebackability' against SYCOB in the fa cup if we are to progress into the 3rd qualifying round!

Not sure who writes your match reports but don't be fooled into thinking Lee Kersey should not have been sent off for handball. I was standing right in line and Lee very clearly used his hands to deflect the ball over the bar (decent save actually). The referee and linesman both instantly signalled the penalty and of course had no choice but to show a red card. I think there was a bit of kidology going on with LK pretending the ball hit him in the face but as he trooped off past me on his way to the dressing room he had a rye smile on his face as if to say "what else could I do?". As usual we tried to throw away a good position at the end of the game. Not much between the sides I thought.

Aargh! Tony N We know who writes them...We know he makes mistakes!!! I was at the other end of the pitch and spotted it!!

 

 

Not a good result. Had a stonewall penalty turned down and then the corner that never was that led to your goal was just taking the piss. The penalty that we got was a joke...NEVER a foul. I was cracking up from where i was it was beyond a joke!! Broke my toe when we had the goal ruled offside!! Bloody joke.
