It says that the KENT SENIOR CHAMPIONS are....Oh look..on that silver cup.Yep,it's MARGATE!!

Someone said 'Gate have'nt got a reserves team but I think they now play at Stonebridge Road.

He would in my world.

First class player. Good with his head. Excellent defender.

All round nice bloke to speak to.

None of this changes because he moved to another club. When he played for us he was blue through and through. At the end of last season he played when injured to keep us going. Our position at the end of the season in the Conference owed a lot to him.

You lot have short memories and an unpleasant habit of bad mouthing people for the sake of something to say.

Leave out the looking back and try to make something of where we are now. Times change, but we still have a team to support. Better we get behind them.

Leave the past in it.

Consider this. Council turn us down next week, Paul Parker gets the sack, Kinnear goes to Welling. Or Council gives us the thumbs up and CK still goes to Welling <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/elephant.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/flame.gif" alt="" />

 

Or CK stays at Margate

Or this,

Council give us the go ahead

CK stays the course

We beat Braintee

We have a good cup run

We find our form in the league

We get enough supporters to games to make a decent atmosphere and start singing again.

We get back to Hartsdown next season, having consolidated our position in the league, maybe reaching a play off position.

We are then ready to make the next big challenge.

That'll do me for now.
