Slough Town 2-2 Yeading

Yeading were 2-0 up going into the last 20 minutes or so, but goals from Alex Haddow and Glen Harris late on rescued us a point. Yeading will be disappointed, they could and should have wrapped up the game. Good point for us though, and an improved performance from recent league games.

And could have even snuck it at the end. Despite their lofty position, I can recall them creating too many clear cut chances. Having said that, we only had one or two as well. Not the best game of football either side will play, but we showed great bouncebackability to secure a point.

Down to 15th with this point. Might sound bad, but the table is so bunched up that we're only 6 points behind new leaders Cheshunt, who have overtaken Yeading.

Interesting how the so-called "smaller" clubs like Yeading and Cheshunt are doing really well after rising out of Ryman Division One (even more so for Lewes).

Delroys boots were to blame , especially when he kicked the dressing room door (3) times hope he broke his foot ! such a poor display in front of so many kids...maybe he should have paid a pound to get in too !

Well done Slough Boys....really a good result and well done for keep going...when the odd's were against you ....

Roll on the fit team.....

Spencer did ok, but did not make half the impression he's made in the past two games. Agree with Radders (embarrasingly) that Parkin and Seedel were our best two players, although Yeading didn't really create too much, but Parkin looked much, much better than on his debut. Let's hope he builds on that.

Thought they passed and kept the ball very well first-half and had a lot of players who easily held off challenges. We did not get going till the last twenty when we battled well and wanted it, which is what's been missing over the last few games, but we saw it at Croydon Athletic and yesterday.

Though Seedel was much improved yesterday and seems to have sorted his first touch. Was suprised Parkin came back in for Whincup after last Saturday, but he did really well and his handling was much improved than against Eastleigh. Getting Chopper on the ball in the last twenty got us back in the game though as in that period he looked more like the Glen Harris of last season that we are yet to see of yet in my opinion.
