MARGATE FC & Council

Just call me Gypsy Rose Empson. Too much time spent in Dreamland as a kid.

Take and determined like all like minded fans to get to the bottom of this.

If it is just a case of personalities getting in the way the sooner they are removed or shown up for being troublemakers in a "political" way the better.

Sorry if the above does not make sense but just back from the pub and still in shock over a photo Jeff sent me from the charity wheelbarrow race at the ground from 1982.

Cookie,

Very difficult this one.

Just wonder whether that could easily be seen as compromising and undermining KP and giving MFC a reason to justify the plug being pulled.

People are naturally sensitive.

Admit i have no better answer but just wonder if such action is correct.

I think that every Margate supporter has the right to ask the club or the council whatever he/she feels the need to ask.I cannot see that this would be undermining anybody,It is our club and it is our council, both parties need the support of the local people.

This has dragged on far,far too long. It's time for ANSWERS and HONESTY from all parties concerned. We're bored & pissed off with it all now and both parties are being seen to be a joke, unfortunately.

My personal opinion is that the council want it for housing or development of some sort that would selfishly benefit themselves as they don't give a monkeys for the football club or Thanet in general. It's time for some truthful public dialogue.

Peed off,(formerley known as Blublood), can you inform us of what you heard at the ground tonight please. Dont be shy now. I have had some interesting replies back from the leader of the council that will have us all in the know a little more. However until tonights news is forwarded to me/us I will hold back on these replies so as not to jeopordise anything. The sooner we know what has been said tonight at the ground and the context of it the sooner I will forward those replies. A.S.A.P please Peed off, (formerly known as Blueblood).

A private message would suffice if you are that shy and want to keep quiet about it!

sorry tony i am not prepared to put what was spoken about on the web as like you i dont want it to jeopordise anything. not playing games but i realy think its time to let things roll along. believe me i know its hard but i seriously don't think we are doing the cause any favours by keeping this going. once again its time to keep quietand just be happy we still have a club.Roll on saterday,if we loose who cares ,at least we are still on the park.

As you haven't given me anything I am forced to show the replies from the leader of T.D.C as I feel it is important others know exactly what has been said or supposed to have been said over the last week. Don't think for one minute it really will make any difference either way as its only for information purposes really. The club aren't saying anything again so to my mind others should be kept informed as best they can be.

As for letting things lie, then I'm sorry ,I cant agree with you on that one. Once we let this lie, as you put it, the club really is in the [censored]!

I am certainly not trying to stir things up but am informing people of information that has come to light.

It could be that a meeting with mr.sandy ezekiel may be possible after all.

As you know I am not a fan of his or the T.D.C.s but credit where credits due, every time I contact him for news he replies, unlike some at the club who just ignore. Whether he is being truthful or not is another matter but he replies and for that I have to thank him.

P.S. am not converted to a council lover just yet guys, dont fear.

Look out for those replies coming soon!!!

Cookie, know it's out i will say what was said at sutton. it was just a case of interpritation, in that i mean it is the same as you and i watching a game. if we both wrote a report on what we had seen it would differ, and so it was with the gaaaaaates interprtation of what was in the meeting/letter. i believe the club needed clarification to eliviate any misunderstandings and any problems further down the line resulting from said points. though no names were mentioned it was not denied that JP would be joining the board but as far as i could gather not as chairman.

I understand what you are saying but the way KP was talking about the changes it seemed to be a definite NO NO. He also said that the laywers had looked at it and that the club had sent a letter back to the council the same day. That letter, according to KPs attitude was that of a knock back on the part of the club. If the details that had been changed weren't all that bad why didnt he and vicky seem more positive than they were. I for one left that meeting feeling really down and thats not what I went there for.

Anyway, whatever, it now sems more positive after all so any meeting with the council leader need not now take place, unless.. no lets not go there.

Am in full agreement now that we and especially I should now sit back and see what comes out of that next meeting. Am feeling much better today after this news because it sounds like, for once, that the two parties are at last agreeing on something.

As mentioned eleswhere, and I think its correct, the council meet again on 10 november with the cabinet. I am assuming that is the meeting we are all looking at. Not sure if we are to be on the agenda but it must surely be hoped we are!
