Has left Welling to go to Cray. Do you think we should try to get him?

I think a lot of fans would say no,to me Phil was one of the best players I have seen in a Margate shirt,if he is fit I think he could do a great job for us and I would love to see him back.

He used to play for Cray. He had 1 or 2 great seasons for us but I think he has been a bit injury prone recently.

 

I question if he would cut it for us after his relative failing under the inspired management of Paul Parker at Welling!

I think Phil peaked the season we won the Championship and gained entry to the Conference.Alright the club has had possibly bigger heroes and better players,but what Phil achieved for us that momentous season and winning the leagues Golden Boot award ( I think that iswhat it was) I dont think will ever be repeated.If he came back I think he could end up an embarrasment to the club and himself.Expectations would be to high. We should leave the memories as they are ,and unfortunately remember who finished him at Conference level.WOKING the bastards .Remember them kicking him off the field!!!!!

Disagree that Collins would be an embarrassment.He would be doing a cracking job for us with a return to the club. This league isn't as strong as the one he was in when he left us. At first it took him time to get fit and then in a close season he lost weight and came out a much better player. O.K. so he may have got older and may have lost his form, dunno, but if this isn't the case CK could well do with acquiring his services. A bit of muscle up front would go a long way at the moment. Re-call him I say, recall him!.

Yeah we all know where he's playing Double Bill. He was supposed to play today in the F.A.trophy. They won 3-1 apparently but can't find an up-to-date CRAY website to see if he was on the scoresheet.
