some Muff responses to last night's results....

 

- Hornchurch's second 6-0 win of the season then. They might be OK when the gel!

 

- Looks like they are going to do a Canvey, and we are so far behind even in Sep, I dont think we have any chance whatsoever of catching them. Which is disapointing to say the least, after so few games. We are now talking miracles.

 

- Thank god for the play-offs then. I'm sure we can make them.

 

- lets hope so !!??! Quarter of the season now gone folks !!!

 

- Interestingly, only Hornchurch, Grays and Basingstoke have lost fewer games than us. Fourth or fifth place is still looking very achieveable if we can just keep ourselves in touch and start turning a few more draws into wins.

 

- We are only 6 points off a play off place and there is no reason why we can't claw back those points from another 30 plus games. After all, if we could have won the last three drawn games - and had it not been for shocking individual errors we would have done - then we'd already be up there. No need for drastic measures or professional help. Let's just have a bit of faith!

No way we'll catch Hornchurch though!

 

- Of course we have a great chance of getting into the playoffs, but we cant catch hornchurch unless they start dropping points, that is fact, not fiction. We dropped points last season thats why we got caught. But yes anything is possible. But the odds say its unlikely.

You're in a better position than us. By September of last year we had already lost two games although we went unbeaten in the next 27!!!!

 

I can see Weymouth doing what we did a couple of seasons ago. Having a really lacklustre start and then around Christmas putting a brilliant run together. Won't be enough to get them top spot though.
