Waltham Abbey 3-1 Basildon

abbeyman i think the title of this post should be Waltham Abbey Under 19's 3 Basildon 1, as we fielded 8 under 19 players plus a 21 year old, 23 yrs old and a grandad of 25!! at the start of the game

 

1 nil down, to a weak free kick, but credit to the youngsters they showed quality by scoring 3 well taken goals!! and even managed to keep basildon at bay even when reduced to 10 men for over 15 minutes as we used all our 2 subs available..

I couldn't believe the audacity of Basildon in taking the lead!!!

It was our third (out of 6) league cup group match. Have won all three so far.
