Pleased to hear that Benevides got the winner, after the slating he got on here after the Lewes debacle, right when he and the rest of the team did NOT need it, really.

 

This league continues to be very very odd, and, Hornchurch's record aside, it isn't settling down. If we win at Redbridge this weekend, which isn't out of the question, we could be within touching distance of the playoff spots.

Nice game from the gate we were a diffrent class to thurrock's hoof and hope tactics we only had a 20-25 min laps wich lead to there goal but aside from that we were really all over them i havent seen such a route 1 team for ages some of there players looked like they needed to diet and get in shape they really were a bad team no pace & no aparent footballers in there team and just no respect for how the game should be played "dirty bastards" the ref was usless and just preety much alowed any thing to go apart from two yellows wich he dished out wich tbh wernt any were as bad as some of the stuff he didnt call but have come to expect it in the conf south.

 

well any ways the scoreline doesnt do any justice to just how much better a footballing team we were compared to thurrock much like lewes there postion in the conf south is really flatering to the level of football they play.

 

The highlight of the game for me had to be the thurrock keeper offering out my m8s 15 year old brother cuase he couldnt take the stick for the 2nd goal rofl god he cracked me up

i know i keep saying it but they must have been the most pants team ever, some one really needs to show them how to play football, the standards of football in this leauge can be awful as tonight showd. (how they are 6th one has to wonder) they had little or no skill insted using 6ft4 20 stone men to shove there way about hoofing in hope one may get a head on it while wrestling our players to the floor while the ref was blind sided or ignoring it....

oh and walking the ball 10 yards down the line for throw in`s or free kicks, i mean they really need to get a grip.

 

still we outplayed em, all in all good win.
