Finance In NonLeague Football

True - nothing we ain't heard before.

Does raise quite a few issues, but the one that sprung to my mind was home attendances. A couple of local games - G&N, Barnet and a few from further afield - Tamworth, Halifax. Not sure what our final average will be, but I'm hazarding a guess that it won't have increased that much.

Looking at Crawley's gates they seem a lot more impressive - obviously it's not ideal comparing clubs with different catchment area's etc.

Also begs the question on financing for the new ground? anyone aware of anything......

Our attendances are poor there`s no doubt about it and i can`t see it changing that much. By coincidence there`s a post on Aldershot`s forum stating they need attendances of 3000 to break even this season and while we are not fulltime like them i`m sure we are not too far behind them on running costs.

i reckon our overheads are much lower than a lot of the 'ex league' clubs and their long esthablished full time set ups..

the owner of our club is obviously canvey through n through, i would get concerned if some one with no connection to your club took it over and looked to 'make money' from it.. no clubs make money outside of the premiership any more? did they ever? they are all labours of love for some one..

our attendance wil prob average say 1,000 this season thats up 30-40 per cent ... a new ground in a better location will add to that.. im more worried tonights game than where we will be in 2014

Who would have believed the fall of Dr Martin boots in the market place and the subsequent problems created for R-Diamonds

Private money is never earned in non-league football only spent with the only gains being in players wages (good luck to them) and the inflation rate of the chairmans ego

The most solid individual I have ever seen in non-league who puts the money up front is Jeff, but he is not immortal? and one day?

Still better than of-shore or second hand windows
