In the draw for the 2nd qualifier for the FA Cup Margate have been drawn at home against Waltham Forest. Waltham Forest play in the Southern League Division One East with teams such as Fisher Athletic, Sittingbourne and Erith & Belvedere. They beat Cogenhoe United 2-1 to come through to this round.

 

The match will take place at The Homelands on Saturday 02 October 2004 with a 3pm KO.
