Don't talk in riddles, Webbo. Say what you mean or don't bother saying anything at all.

We ship out Craig Mackail-Smith to Arlesey, because the manager reckons he's no good. He is then snapped up by Dagenham & Redbridge for £5K on a 3 year contract and improves his game by 100% due the fact he is getting the first decent coaching in his life. Did we get a sell on? I don't think so.

When Oakes suddenly reappears from nowhere after not cutting it at Shelbourne (the same Oakes who is now at Stotfold), we suddenly have a surplus of midfielders. We then let the superb Jon Challinor leave to join Aldershot. Castle makes it clear to Cook he doesn't rate him. No fee, of course.

Greg Deacon was MOM by some distance in the Ryman play off final at Bedford. He is the finest home grown talent we have seen at this club in 30 years. He then leaves the club by mutual consent. Mutual consent bollox. I, for one, do not believe that Deacon really wants to leave. Castle clearly doesn't rate him or he would still be here. Well I'll tell you something for nothing SC, every other Saints supporter does rate Deacon and you can also bet that all the clubs that will now come in for him do as well.

IMHO the next to go will be Seeby, Attwood and Rob Smith, in no particular order. It is as clear as night follows day.

Are we all getting the picture yet? This club is in a downward spiral and out of control. On the managing, coaching (is there any?) and playing side, the man management skills displayed appear to be zero and bringing in ex pro mercs is certainly not the way forward. Opara? Give me a break.

Mr Chairman, wake up and open your eyes, you are being mugged off.

Can anyone, Pete Lewis perhaps, throw any light on why Greg Deacon has been kicked out, when I would guess every SAFC fan would consider him to be one of our best players. It is even more staggering when you consider Gary Wraight is still here.

Can we forget about the flare - who cares!

I think you will find that he has some knowledge of the oval-shaped ball, Alban, but, like me, knows nothing about football.

I should be very astonished if the manager seeks his guidance concerning the playing staff, team selection or indeed anything else. Don't forget that he resigned his position on the Board at the end of last season, if, indeed, he could have answered your question had he remained on it. The Board, that is.

He will be as surprised and bemused as everyone else, I imagine.

As ever, it's best to await formal confirmation from The Official Web-site but I have just heard from a very good source that Jake Attwood has left the club "by mutual consent".

If true, you heard it here first. If not, then it's nothing to do with me.

A few of us have been on the receiving end of what happens if you make a stand, JK, and it ain't pretty.

We had four people (two fans, one official, one supporters club committee member) have a go at us at Eastbourne when we started chanting our frustration. One of those threatened violence (Gertcha was told he'd have his "c*nting head knocked off") and I was verbally assaulted, as previously documented, with the foulest of language.

And last season, when a member of this board described the team as "crap" and one of its players as "toilet", two independent fans were battered physically in the clubhouse by digruntled players.

Yeah. I'm up for sitting back and letting it happen.

Good luck to Jake, a very promising talent and a good bloke to. I hope he flourishes at where ever he is off to and I'll look forward to following his progress of what will hopefully be a succesful career.

I hope he goes somewhere he is properly appreciated and for the sake of Chris Seeby's career, I hope he follows him out the door. It's quite clear they won't progress by staying with St.Albans City.

As for Rob Smith, if this is the bloke who attacked the fans in the bar then [***!!***] him. (If I've got my wires crossed here then I apologise.)

Oh yeah, for the record the bloke threatened me because he didn't recognise me and he wanted to know "Who the [***!!***] I was" chanting for Castle to be sacked. I've only been going to watch City since 1988 so I didn't get his point. He just seemed like an unintelligent idiot to be honest so can't say I was bothered by him.

Before anything else, the first thing that has to happen is that the apparent divisions on the terraces must stop. I did not hear the 'foulest of language' that Zeal was subjected to the other week and, whilst sympathetic, I recognise that dwelling upon that wont get anyone anywhere. Similarly, any repeat of it wont help either. It's a two-way street.

I mentioned on another thread that a fan of 30 years standing came to speak to me in the clubhouse at Eastbourne and he explained that he did not support the chants for the manager to go. I don't know why he chose me to raise the matter with, by the way, but for 20 minutes or so we had a perfectly amicable conversation and, most certainly, there was no foul or abusive language used by either of us.

I would happily join a conversation tonight with two fans, who have opposing views of any issue relating to the Club and I would respect both of them for their views.

Every one on the 'home' terraces is a Saintsfan. Bitching and backbiting gets us nowhere.

It's out of control, AFF, and in my opinion it has gone way too far.

There are people coming to this club now who absolutely detest other people on the terraces. It's depressing, so much so that I am seriously considering my future support for this club.

I am still shocked (not to mention 'furious'), ten days later, at the abuse I was on the receiving end of, and I think that some relationships between various sections of fans, officials and management are beyond repair.

I am still sickened by what happened in our clubhouse last season when two of our fans were physically assaulted by players and that our chairman chose to brush the entire episode under his carper.

I am getting increasingly frustrated, to the point of become bitter, at what is gong on at this club and, to use your word, the apathy from so-called supporters who claim to love St Albans City FC.

From what I can see, people just don't give a sh*t.

I feel a meeting of representatives of the various groups to express feelings about the club would help.

I think there are two issues: Castle and Gibson.

1. Are we happy with Steve Castle? Should he go or be given more time? Can we change anything?

2. Are we happy with the way the club is run? What does the future hold? Ditto: can we change anything?

Any thoughts anyone?

Zealster, as AFF has reported above we have factions that are each others throats. I've had it put to me that this distracts from efforts to sort the problem out. A meeting would allow everyone to express their opinion.

I strongly believe 80% of us agree on, say, 80% of the points.

In a controlled meeting where you have one or two members of each group and, most importantly, a strong and respected chairperson, you can achieve a lot.

JK, that was tried at Eastbourne and was met with a barrarge of abuse. I believe most of those were simply having a go at EFM not the issue at hand.
