Another player leaves

Recommended Posts

Without doubting your sources, VH, if that news is true, I for one, am disappointed if Greg has left the club and I would like to wish him well for the future. Really nice guy.

There was another section of the Chairman's notes in the matchday programme that caught my eye on Saturday:

"Having spoken to Steve Castle, we are also very much in agreement that some of our senior players are not performing to our expectations and quite clearly action is being taken to improve the situation."

"Quite clearly"? I wondered if that comment has any relevance to Gary Wraight and Adam Parker starting on the bench on Saturday, and Amadue Gerber being preferred to Chris Seeby to start on the bench.

I don't know anything about football.

Oh for the love of Jesus, Webbo.

That post was really helpful. Let's fuel the flames of ridiculous arguments between different groups of Saintsfans on the terraces. That will really help the situation.

This flare business is really a nonsense. I believe that an Official of the club spoke to one fan in the clubhouse before kick-off at Eastbourne and cautioned him against setting off a flare on the terraces. That fan had probably been drinking since 5.30 on Friday evening and probably wouldn't have responded if he had been offered the Manager's job.

Gibbo has made the position perfectly clear in his programme notes from Saturday and I'm sure that will be an end to the matter.

Happy now, Webbo?

Back to the football. please. 8 points from 10 games, gates plummetting through the floor and all you can talk about is the d@mmed flare!

Spoke to me, yes.

Cautioned me, no.

Quite the opposite. We had a bit of a joke about, hence why I was so shocked at his venomous attack on me in the second half.

Drinking since 5.30pm Friday - also no. About 11.30am Saturday, give or take half hour or so.

Just wanted to clear that up AFF, cheers.

(Oh, and without wishing to drop any mates in it, I was nowhere near the flare either)
