Now we know the make-up of the Division next season (as thought), what would your top five be?

 

I'll go for :

 

Slough

Harlow

Yeading

Arlesey

Hemel

I am not familiar with a lot of the teams, so my selection is drawn from the teams I have seen

Slough

Oxford

Wealdstone

Thame

Northwood

Slough.....if the money to pay the players doesn't run out in March (or even August!)

Do you guys really think Slough can do it?

I certainly think you can win it. Despite your financial state being a bit precarious, you can still afford to spend more than the majority of next years Division.

You'll be the best supported Club in the League, so you have to start as favourites.

 

I think we're rightly up there as we'll have a squad of considerable quality come Aug, while a lot of work will be done withthe comunity to try and get ourselves a bit of a crowd on a more regular basis (instead of the 190 hearty souls who turned up for home games last year).

On paper we should walk the league, but:

 

A) We are Slough Town!

Nothing goes smoothly and as expected being a Slough fan!

C) The league is not won on paper

D) Some of our 'Star' (an I use that term loosely) will not really be up for playing on a load of mudbaths for away games

E) We beat Wealdstone 6-0 and Harlow 4-0 and 4-1 and they up there with the fav's - So they will want revenge

 

Roll on the new season though!
