what a excelent day we had,

me ad and mike cheerd the lads on to the pitch with a blue army chant tho no one else seemd to join in(this was despite the can-can playing in the back ground)

tho after that we went pretty quiet as we saw 2 goals fly in at the other end pretty sharp <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

 

but not to be detered all the gate fans gathered at the other end and seconds after kick off everyone started cheering and chanting non stop made some great noise blew the home crowd away...

could see the boys loving it it really gave the team a gr8 boost and they pickd there game up no end. coming back from 2-0 to win 4-2 is signs of a team who are going somewhere.

we had a real good turn out considering recent form, well done to all who showd.

it was one of the best days out i had in a long while well enjoyed it.

 

anyhow everyone needs to get there voices out for tuesday game, lets give our boys the edge!

For me there was one disappointing factor that reared its head again - the foul mouthed negative chanting from our supporters which I can assure you that our players do not like. Stop it.

 

Positive chanting, and supporting shouts are needed. The odd abuse at the officials is acceptable, but energy is wasted with the negative stuff.

 

I came away having shouted my way through it for the lads as did many others and I am sure that this is what the players want.

i didnt think anyone was negative or personal to anyone, and from where i was standing everyone had a gr8 time..

i saw nothing ugly rear its head, would understand ur post if someone was hitting the lino or somthing,

Chanting "AT" the opponents, precisely as you stated plus others.

 

Reword them to be positive towards us!

 

"We hate Dover Athletic etc....." is fine as it ends with a positive Margate line and is not specific to the team we are playing at the time.

will u be leading us in the chanting department on tuesday as u seem to have clear ideas of what we need and what songs to chant.

we need a leader to fire us up..

I am not a great leader in the chanting department but I do join in, as I did yesterday. I normally make my vocal comments in my own way and come away from every game hoarse.

 

I believe that you chanting guys do a terrific job and you must keep it going - but in a positive (for the team) way.

 

Sadly it is my 58th birthday on Tuesday. I have other arrangements and cannot get to the game.

It's only a problem in that you took it without permission and it's always a bit annoying when people take stuff without asking. You only had to e-mail me and it wouldn't have been any kind of problem.

Spare a thought for those of us who cant make it to any games this season, am in Croatia 2day & ive heard nothing from my very own Statto "Bodyform", bloody information superhighway my [****!!****] matey.

 

Sounds like I be missing some good football & that there be some more fans going along n upsetting with our fine singing voices, keep up the good work.

 

Anyone who sees Bodyform give him a dry slap as he is not doing his job, im in the dark ages out here.
