much better than the previous three games, but you have to take into account we were playing lower league opposition. Still there were some superb passages of play in the second half, and if this result gives the team their confidence back, all the better

Great result with all our problems even though Croydon are in a league below us ! but even last year they beat us at their ground ! and it was a real good old fa cup tie... Croydon Ath deserve a round of applause for their efforts too to make it a nail biting game ! .....

 

Great athmosphere at the end and a great sense and pride that our team did not let us down and showed great character ...well done Slough...

Good performance against a spirited side. MOTM is close run between Daly, Saulsbury and Whincup. If Saulsbury did make two goal line clearances then I would give him the nod. He definately made one but from our end it was difficult to tell who made t'other.

 

The save from Whincup was impressive but the Athletic player gave him every chance as he had acres of space to aim into and left it at a good height.

 

I think we played 4-5-1 more than 4-3-3 but it was enough to get the result which was the important thing. We were down to the bare bones and the sooner we can get the walking wounded back the better.

Oh come on boys the best part was chanting Eddie Dentons Rebel Amry for about 10 mins towards the end of the game.Damn i was knackered after that.

 

Does anyone know when the next round will be drawn.
