Blimey that is a bit of a shock. Pete has played 23 matches for Clevedon but hasn't been seen since the start of the friendlies. He's a medium pace bowler who has played fo Somerset and Kent, who released him in the summer. I know he's been playing for Hampshire Seconds and we understood he was being alowed time to play cricket. Mangotsfield United put in 7 days notice for him recently but Margate is a bit of a surprise I have to say, unless Kent have changed their minds and offered him a county contract again ? Peter Trego - Signed in December 2003 from Screwfix Direct League side, Weston St Johns, Peter has also played for Weston Super Mare, Bishop Sutton and Torrington amongst others, as well as being a County cricketer at both Somerset and Kent.

 

Good keeper with a good kick we'll be sorry to see him go...
