Striker Steve Hale from Northwood, according to The Express.

 

I remember he scored loads of goals last season alongside Lawrence Yaku, who has joined Maidenhead. Would be a good player to have in this League, although perhaps not the ultimate replacement for Gravesend-bound Neville Roach.

This is true. He joined before the deadline in march, and failed to make much of an impression at Conference level, but has proven ability at Ryman One and will be a useful acquisition.

Steve Hale would be an excellent signing IF he signs. Like the article said he has 'agreed terms' but he has not signed yet.

 

We need a goalscorer and Steve Hale scored something like 80 goals in 100 games for Northwood in Division One & Cup games, which is an excellent record. Saw him a few times for Hayes and he did not look great, but when we played Northwood at home thought he was their best player.

 

I get the impression he would be more on an addition for the squad rather than a direct replacement for Bartley, Roach or Ullers.
