Sorry for any apparent amiguity, but the standard usage of "quality" would not apply when talking about City. So therefore, I'm clearly describing the standard, particuarly the brevity, of the report.

Anyway, for you: "Quality report, AFF"

In the past, going home from an away game there used to be quite an in depth discussion about the game, a discussion which could get fairly animated. Strange thing about last night, AFF, nothing, fk all only a sort of numbness and a realisation that we are going to have get used to these sort of performances while Castle is still in charge. Every time you go to a game now you are expecting a defeat. Let's face it, last night Redbridge were no better than a pub team.

Can someone please tell me why we played Capleton and Martin last night. Even a blind person could see they were both carrying injuries. Perhaps Castle will open his eyes and play Robinson and Seeby on Saturday. And yet another booking for Clarke for dissent, must be about the fourth by my reckoning.

Hi Woody.

Yes. The atmosphere was more like a wake. Yes again. It was Clarke's 4th yellow.

No, not a pub team. Not likely to finish in the top 10 but Redbridge played some good football last night. Pacy up front with a couple of quality midfielders. Jittery as they hadn't won at home this term. Only 8 home wins in 2004, I believe. They found our weaknesses fairly quickly.

No again. If Martin is to play through the mid and end of the season, and if he is concerned about his body in 20 years time, he shouldn't be playing at the moment. He should properly sort out his injury.

Sorry, AFF we'll have to agree to disagree on that then.

I felt they were infinitely worse than Eastbourne, who were bad enough. I think you may possibly be getting confused by the fact that we were even worse last night than on Saturday. Redbridge won't finish in the top 19, let alone top 10.

I thought that Redbridge played to their strength, ie route one to pacy strikers with very little football. This worked a couple of times when they got round the back of our defence (but then who hasn't!).

We were undone by not playing to the whistle, stopping for when Walshe nearly had his head kicked off leading to the first goal, fluffed chances and some very poor refereeing. We should have had two penalties in the first half, the second probably leading to a sending off.

These are areas that affected - referee and/or linesmen and the opposition hoofing it at every available opportunity, but these can and do need attention:-

1. Play to the whistle.

2. Defensive marking.

3. Ball control.

4. Shooting.

By the way, Clarke was booked for a late tackle and not dissent.
