Injury crisis

This has been a major impact on the last three games.

We lost Hodges and Haddow at Staines. Hakki obviously was injured a little earlier but we are now missing his creativity and verve.

We all know what Hodges brings - goals. But his work rate is excellent and he tackles back brilliantly.

Haddow once he got back into the side was imo our most influential player and was in great form.

Hakki just holds onto the ball and provides the midfield link.

Get fit soon boys.

Injuries have played a part but they cannot be totally to blame. The 10 outfield players who stepped out last night are all proven to some extent at this level and (apart from Spencer and maybe Michael Murphy) they were all in their best positions. A team with that makeup should be able to perform to a better level than they have done in the last 3 games no matter who is missing. Hodges, Hakki, Haddow are all good players but we still could have got something out of that game last night and especially Saturday where, in all fairness to Cheshunt and Eastleigh, if you compared the teams man to man we should have had the stronger team even with the injured players.
