Bizarrely we took the lead twice. 1-0, Che. They equalised after Benevides punched a corner off the line. He was sent off and they scored the pen. Che made it 2-1 (with a boot missing!). Then we gave away two unbelievably soft goals before half-time. Two goals at the start of the second half for them as our defence (and Hussein in particular) lost the plot. Baptiste pulled one back, 5-3. Then he hit the post with a header a minute later! Even at this stage we were still in the game, but a Lewes sixth ended the contest. They added one more.

I was there as well.

We played well in patches, even with 10 men.

If Baptiste had scored (he should have done) with just Ward to beat a few minutes before half time we would have gone in 3 - 2 up with a chance.

We need a decent keeper and at least one more strong midfield player. Gradley is not up to it.

Che worked very hard and deserved his goals

Well if you was there then surely you cant say we need a decent keeper......

We could ask no more of Hussein, if it wasnt for his acrobatics it could have been 10. He even did well by getting a hand to the penalty! Lay off him, I think he is pretty good!!! (U WANT SCOTT WARD BACK?) - EXACTLY!!!!

Che was great, but I feel that Gradley must be replaced......he simply isnt up to it!!! is he even match fit?

A few positves, but mostly midweek negatives!

Oh well, 3 Points Saturday!!!! (WE HOPE)

Did any of the subs get on tonight.Looking at the subs available they could have done a lot better though obviously havent seen BULLEY yet.Did even HE get on? What is chris doing.Any of these players could have done a job surely. He has to swop the team around i.m.o. Get that defense sorted and still get an attacker, of which I had thought he had acquired, onto the pitch.Even though we scored last night I still think that replacement up front is nessasary. Back to basics I think.

ok i havent been to any games since bognor, but i really feel we're just a keeper short, who would you replace outfield.... certainly not Oates, Edwards, Beckwith, Annon, Green when back. accross midfield, Clarke, Keister (who i still feel has been our best midfielder since he came back from injury 2002) and then maybe Charalambous. Manche and Rocky up front. Who? ok if we sign rooney we may have to make room! may i remind everyone as well, we've got one more point than our start last year as well. we just need to knock the keeper situation on the head, Gotkalkson left us up [***!!***] creek really but then the results will start coming.

Strange aswell that we've lost 7-3 and 6-0 most managers would be walking... not CK!

Didn't see last night's game but sounds like the result doesn't exactly reflect the performance (again!). From the games I have seen the players that have been on, have all done OK and really just need to get used to playing together. OK, a few players have come in for a bit of criticism but apart from Ward, the same players have also made some noteworthy and valuable contributions. Feel really we just need to hang in there and things will start to coem right. Two red cards in two games is worrying. With a limited squad suspensions are going to hurt - when and for how long are we likely to lose JK and Benevides?

As soon as benevides was sent off ck was back to his no shouting, no support for the players routine, just standing there arms folded. What a mess(joke?) we have become, any news on the ground? No I thought not. The Keeper was pants absolute rubbish, yes a couple of good saves but much flapping and dropping, he even kicks worse than smithy!!!

Goalies not the problem.

Defence is.

Serious left wing back, preferably older and been around a bit but canny, strong with a bit of height needed.

Move Annon up a bit, play Aaron and Dean, give a bit of back up to Nej.

Forwards no problem, they will score, if they are not going backwards to defend.

What we need to have is clean sheets, defend at all costs, goals follow when we get that right. We are conceding too much, and need to be solid at the back, even if it costs us several boring draws to do it.
