Lewes vs. Margate

Thanks for your trouble in posting a report late on.

As you say, it has been midfield where problem liies since start of season, and also have to say in the 4 gamws i have seen, Edwards has been poor.

Seems wrong defender is on the bench.

For me, centre of defence is Barnett ,Beckwith, Annon.

God knows what we do about midfield.

Gradley and especially Benevides are completely out of their depth.

ill post what i thought.

just got back tired and depreesed. but what i can tell u is,

we had 3 good players on the pitch.

Che, he was outstanding (class above the rest)

Dean, consistent to final whistle

and Hussain, yes he saved several amazing shots. the ammount of shots they had on target was uncountable.

there was no reason that 4 that idiot Benevides to punch the ball of the line (after 15 mins of play), getting a instand red and giving a penatly it was insane.

so a lot of blame goes on Benevides imo, but knowing we were 10 men possetion will drop, but tbh it didnt but our defence were guilty of trying to play the offside trap bad and when it faild they just watched the lewes strikers run 1 on 1 at the keeper. imo we need to get new players.

gradley, is [***!!***] no doubt only good for sub.(needs replacing bad)

eddy, should have come off, he lookd tired and was extreamly slow needs a rest big time....

oats, was poor got very angry and effected his game badly.

clarke, was guilty of floundering a lot .

keister, was on another planet did nothing at all.

Benevides, idiot red card move ruind game imo..

Beckwith, solid game was to much for 1 man to defend alone

Annon, was ok but some times very dodgy lookd ok going forward.

Hussein, saved countless goals some outstanding saves. (ward would have let in 15, he is still [***!!***])

Baptiste, didnt look intrested, motivation isnt there at all, faced a open goal again insted turnd waited 10 secs or so, and a defender whipd it off him.

Che, best player on pitch work rate second to none, slotted home the 2 chances he had with style.

in short we need a real rethink on this team now.

maybe as gate4tehwin says rething formation.

I broadly agree with all the points as well.

Did not say that Hussein was poor. He appears to be a good shop stopper. I am sure that I said that we need a decent keeper (and later said that we need one that will bring some confidence to the team).

Unfortunately the inexperience of Benevides probably cost us the game. I am sure that we will beat Lewes at home. We will probably need to.

Why was Benevides sent off. If the ball is already over the line and in the goal surely it is then not in play,so desperate handling is not a red card offence. I do not wish to critisise any one but why we didnt bring on Barnet when YOUNG benevides was dismissed?. I dont know, infact why we didnt start with GO & PB at the back behind AB, KING BILLY(who could play his old sweeper role when neccersary)and DB. At this level you have to have a big solid centre line able to smother the high cross route one tactic. When AB eventualy came on we had this centre line and it worked, though an inefective back line due to the wrongful dismisal and GO's ever increasingly sore knee restricting his mobility. As for quote, THAT IDIOT BENEVIDES, he is not a fullback and as far as i could see was getting forward well until the incident. Once again we were on the receiving end of a couple of bad flags. 2 blatant offsides, they were allowed to go on to net. What next RB or NH, RB,at the moment is not worth his money, his body language reminds me of one Charlie Mitten, last season ,he doesnt seem able to motivate himself Ok he was through clear with 2 defenders behind him and only ward to beat when the ball bobbled, and he did score but that was it.When you have a young fit fast centre forward sitting on the bench he must be used earlier. As for NH, you could'nt blame the boy for 5 of the goals so 5 out of 6 is not a bad percentage for such a young an inexperienced keeper. The Boy needs matches, this is one of the downsides of not having a reserve structure. At the end of the day we need more numbers ,cover at the back ,another more experienced keeper. forget the fancy midfield at this level ,all you do is dance around the edge of the area ,go route one. Thought Che played well, was effectivly without any support from RB.The new striker showed pace control and a willingness to run when he came on,but by then it was to late. Come on the GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE its only september plenty of time to move onwards and upwards.
