It's non-league football. A bit of wind will not put off two teams and the ref.

I think you'll find adverse weather does put them off! At the back end of last season the referee and Slough players refused to leave the dressing rooms for the start of the second half and the Worthing players hopped over the barrier and sat in the stand whilst we stood behind the goal in a torrential downpour. Has anyone ever thought of covering at Stag Meadow?!!

Surely, one of the main reasons for the teams changing ends at half time is to even-out any benefits/disadvantages caused by the prevailing wind? (OK, and the direction of the sun, and the slope of the pitch too...).

So, there would have to be severe danger - like the risk of the roof being blown off the stand, or the lighting towers toppling - before a match was called off.

And anyway, what self-respecting team could possibly consider having a game called off because they were suffering from wind?
