She was concerned that we'll be thrown out of the league for using a flare. Still waiting for all those past documented cases (post-war only will suffice) of clubs being lobbed out their leagues for the flare-launching antics of its supporters.

Considering other recent events that have been successfully swept under the carpet the club shouldn't be too disappointed. I'd have thought the racist comments made at Sutton for example would get us a far worse reputation.

....The minutes of the August Committee Meeting of the Supporters Club are on the notice board in the clubhouse.

 

There is reference to the suggestion [made by me!- 15 minutes of fame etc.] from the AGM that they should re-consider the Constitution of the SC this season and, no doubt, any proposed changes will be presented for consideration at the next AGM in May. A copy of the Constitution is available for inspection in the club shop, apparently.

 

No reference to free entry to the ground for Committee members, Palomino so your source was, clearly, inaccurate.

 

As an aside, there is reference in the minutes to the proper election of Lucy Smith to t'Committee at that meeting. Good luck to her, from me.

I've decided to do a correspondence course and become a Lawyer, Zealster. I should be qualified by the end of next week. It'll be 350 guineas per hour after that. Ask me as many questions as you like then as it will be your money.
