freeloader issue raising its ugly head once more

It has come to my attention that a new legislation in the constitution of the St Albans City Supporters Club Committee means that all Committee members now are granted free entry into all home matches.

 

Would it be possible to provide a list of all committee members, and their roles within the club, and also if any committee members read this message board, could they confirm or deny?

I attended the Supporters Club AGM and I raised the question of its constitution, although not in the context of freeloaders, I hasten to add. I was told by that Chairman of the Supporters Club chap that a change to the constitution would require an Extraordinary General Meeting, and I suggested that t'Committee should consider the form of the constitution at one of its meetings this season.

 

A swift denial of the rumour that you have heard would be appreciated.

Could I suggest the constitution is published, possibly on the website? Furthermore, a list of committee members and their responsiblities would give some visibility to what the group does and hopefully put and end to such suggestions.

I find that shocking, but have heard that a member of said committee, albeit by word-of-mouth, has admitted that yes, free entry is one of the 'perks'. This also includes family members.

 

How many people are actually on this committee? And yes, a list of members and their responsibilities would be welcomed.

Can't speak for the little white horse, but I have heard this rumour/information, as I've said previously in the thread, from a member of the committee herself, albeit via a third party.
