Now more than ever we need to get behind our club, so lets do it starting with promotion next season and then to get back to where we belong, THE CONFERENCE!!!

Well at long last some movement from the council, seems very upbeat. Let's hope that agreements are in place that satisfy the Ryman League and enable us to continue playing at a reasonable level. I imagine the time span involved will mean that we will have to ground share the season after next, but the imposition would be wothwhile. I must say I am impressed with what I have read about the proposed facilities. Let's hope that we can do a Rushden and Diamonds, attract a healthy a crowd, achieve healthy finances and get a team and standard of football the town deserves, playing in amber and navy of course!

Don't get too exited. There is still a LOAD of work to do before anything happens as there are still MANY problems to sort out. I will believe there will be a new ground only when I actually see building work taking place.

Same here, until I see bricks and mortar as far as I'm concerned, nothing is happening, why get our hopes up too high. Sounds promising though.

There are lots of hurdles to overcome--local opinion will be quite important as the council see it as a good proposal, but want to see what local residents think. The allotment holders arn't impressed--they had to move twice before and don't want to move again. If you live in Slough, a bit of lobbying any councillors you know would be a good idea.

Another big stumbling block may be that although the land in question is owned by Slough Borough Council, it's still in South Bucks?

Therefore, it wouldn't really change the situation on ground planning, and we'd be just as better off sprucing up the current site with the extra facilities?
