I see Tony started sat in the Daggers 5-0 defeat and in the NLP he got a rating of 4??

Would be good to still have him here scoring goals especially with Hodgey injured at the moment....

Plus i see Lee Riddell Came on again for Farnborough and he has been playing up front, he got a 7 rating in the NLP.

I think Tony got introduced to the Daggers team and they've not won since! Still, despite him being caught offside plenty of times, I'd have him back like a shot. Very clever player who kept making good runs in behind the defence, something which few midfielders picked up on and the delayed pass often saw him caught offside.

Completely agree Gary.

It will be interesting to see how Booty gets on as the season progresses. When he was with us he had the pace and movement to find himself space. That was how he got so many goals and in my opinion that was why he was caught offside so many times - the midfield would react too slowly giving the defence to push up a fraction and catch him.

The question is at a higher level will he still find the space? If yes he will continue to score plenty. If no, it means the defences are a lot better and he may struggle.

Time will tell. Still wish him all the best but if it goes Pete Tong I would certainly welcome him back.

I was saying that all through last season when people were accusing him of lacking effort. Personally I never saw the laziness in Booty that others did and often thought him getting caught offside was a failure on the part of thers to spot the intelligent runs he was making as Gary said. We don't look half as threatening without him that's for sure and I'd take him back tomorrow.

I felt the laziness thing was partly due to his frustration at not getting picked out when the runs were made. Also he is not a worker in the ilk of Hodges or Miller.
