are we going to alter the kick off time of the home game with bognor regis, as it clashes with the england/wales game, also march 26th at home to ford is england/northern ireland

both fixtures might affect our crowd

Read a similar question at another club's forum, Urchin2. Would make sense to alter the times/days...

Someone reckoned that Saturday matches were under stricter FA guidelines than mid-week ones. Letting us switch the k.o time would be sensible, but isn't the phrase "sensible FA decision" an oxymoron. Surely if they were informed in advance it can't be a prob?

Anyway the same source also reckoned that the FA are less strict with which day a mid-week match is played...at longs it is played that week.

Different rules apply for weather postponements etc

All decisions subject to agreement between clubs and on the extent of interuption to [esp] travelling supporters. blah blah obviously

This all might be billy big bollox....

Weymouth are hoping to alter their kick off to 1pm.

Havant have changed their fixture to the Monday night

Of course had England played at 7.30 there would not be a problem. Oh, I forgot, they don't care about non-league do they?

We have spoken to Bognor and unfortunately they cannot oblige for a friday evening match due to their players working during the day and the time constraints upon them....!!

they would have had the same problems for their tuesday games but its their shout.

In fairness.... if I was Jack Pierce their manager... I would see a 3pm K/O as being in my favour with a much smaller less partisan crowd.

we are now considering a 1pm K/O but again its will be Bognor's shout and Hillsy also has to look at the implications for his team. Quite obviously Gary would rather play in front of 100 people at 3pm than have a crowd of 800 at 1pm and unsettle his team..the 3 points are his concern not the gate attendences or the england match...

we shall try to accommodate everyone and will keep you all updated...

maybe all our players wil contract 'chinese chicken flu'....

thats just reminded me...I have a login registered as 'chinese chicken charlie' and haven't used it for a while....

hhhmmmm...the daggers forum beckons....
